Perth City : Christmas Lights Trail 2017

It’s Christmas Time!! Isn't it just the most Magical Time of year..

Everyone is saying the same thing, they can’t believe it’s the end of the year, they can’t believe it’s Christmas Time - already!!

In the same breath, there is that warm, fuzzy and exciting Christmas feeling about. Most people have their Christmas Decorations up and the City is abundant with them.

I am so pleased to report on this years Free City Happenings, something different, something pretty cool… A Christmas Lights Trail!

It has already started and is going through to the big day, 25th December 2017, commencing at 6pm every evening.

I've uploaded the map for you from the City of Perth website for your reference. There are 16 different trails to explore, from in the heart of The City to Northbridge, East Perth and West Perth.

My girls and I are so super excited about this trail. We have purchased a Polaroid Camera and have already commenced taking pictures of the installations and light projections. We are attaching the Polaroid images to our Christmas tree as part of our decorations. This is also so Santa can see them when he drops the presents off to my very good girls on Christmas Eve.

Too much fun taking all these polaroid pics, can't wait to attach them to our Christmas Tree

This brilliant City of Perth initiative is perfect for the whole family to get in on, it’s the ideal something to do. The memories you can build along the way are just priceless.

We are viewing the installations progressively, also because of the girls age (Chloii 5 and Kaleesi 4), it’s a bit much to do them all at once. By viewing them progressively, it’s kind of like an Advent venture, each time we get/see something different.

Not only has the city introduced these mesmerising lights, there are also so many other wonderful Free things happening leading up to Christmas, such as :
